Barbara Licha : Gap - sculptures and paintings

 As an adjunct to her retrospective at the Polish Club, Ashfield, Barbara is holding a 1 week show of her works at the studio gallery, UPSpace Gallery.

Barbara is also opening up her studio for visitors on 23rd of March 2 PM.

Adam Laerkesen in 'Imagine' at Gippsland Art Gallery

Ultimo Project Studios' blog begins the year with Adam's participation in the exhibition, Imagine.  It is an inaugural exhibition for the new Gippsland Art Gallery curated by Simon Gregg.

 

The exhibition comprises 134 art works by 81 artists, both locally and abroad, covering a period of 5 centuries of creative expressions.

Exhibition Date   6th January - 18th March 2018

Mark Dubner : Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize finalist

Congratulations to our UP Studios member, Mark Dubner for being amongst the 46 finalists for this year's Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize.  There were 675 entries.

CALL FOR SCULPTORS: Toyota Community Spirit Gallery Indoor Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition

The annual Indoor Outdoor Sculpture exhibition is open to all Victorian based sculptors of any level of experience from emerging to established artists. The exhibition is designed to showcase the diversity and excellence of sculpture practice in Victoria. There is no cost to apply, no commission on sales and a small fee is available to successful applicants to assist with transport and installation. All successful applicants to the Toyota Community Spirit Gallery program are eligible to apply for the $10,000 Toyota Community Spirit Artist Travel Award.

Call for artist submissions: headland 2011 (NZ)

Next year’s headland Sculpture on the Gulf 2011 will be the fifth biennial exhibition set along Waiheke’s spectacular coastal walkway during summer 2011 from January 28 to February 20.

All work for headland is selected especially for the exhibition. The selectors’ panel for 2011 all have national experience and include Trish Clark, Chairperson  for the Advisory Panel for Public Art; Heather Galbraith, Senior Curator/Manager Curatorial Programmes at the City Gallery, Wellington, Te Whare Toi and James McCarthy, Executive Director, Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts.
Selected international artists are eligible for financial assistance
